What can be leased and bundled?

Is there a minimum or maximum dollar value on equipment to be leased?

Minimum of $8,000 for commercial entities and local government; minimum of $20,000 for federal government. There is no ceiling or maximum dollar amount that can be leased (we can lease equipment worth tens of millions of dollars).

Can you do equipment leasing only?

Yes, we can lease equipment only and not bundle any recurring services in.

Who is the “Prime Contractor” on government solicitations when using Leasing & Turnkey Solutions Enablement?

Either you remain the prime contractor or Transpondr can be the prime contractor. The process is simpler and leasing rates are lower if Transpondr is the prime contractor; there are also SDVOSB preferential scoring benefits.

Do you lease to the government?

Yes, we’ve built our foundation on leasing to the Federal Government, DoD, and local government. Our foundation includes partners that have been leasing and financing equipment to the Federal Government for decades and understand the challenges and nuances of doing so. We lease to federal agencies, DoD, state and local government, commercial, and enterprise organizations.

What are the requirements from an end customer to lease?

Government customers are automatically approved, and no application is required.  We take the itemized equipment list and generate a lease agreement directly with the end customer.  If there are recurring services, we bundle those in so the customer gets a single recurring payment.  For commercial entities, there is a Lease Application and minimum credit requirements, and most organizations that have been in business for at least 5 years are approved in less than 4 hours.

What leasing terms are available?

Standard terms are 12, 24, 36, 48, and 60 months.  Custom terms to coincide with budget cycles are available.

What types of leases are available?

Customers can choose a straight lease, which is essentially a long-term rental, or a lease with option to purchase, which gives the customer the option to purchase the equipment at the end of the term. Both allow the customer to utilize O&M funds for the lease.

What happens at the end of the term?

Customers can choose to return the equipment, renew the lease, or purchase the equipment at fair market value.

What are the rates and fees?

Rates and fees are dependent on the end customer type, the dollar value of the total solution, and the term.

Do you lease internationally?

We lease to any US entity, regardless where the equipment will be deployed.  Leasing to international organizations is not yet supported but will be soon.
