Transpondr Awarded $267,000 Contract with U.S Army to Deliver Tactical Mesh/MANET Radio Broadcast Solution

Picatinny Arsenal, NJ–September 28, 2020 – Transpondr has been awarded a $267,000 contract with the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center New Equipment Training and Media Production Branch [CCDC AC NETMP] at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ to deliver Silvus Technologies StreamCaster IP MIMO Radios.

The Silvus IP MIMO Radios will be deployed on broadcasting missions to provide a wireless mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) primarily for high definition video broadcasts. The StreamCaster IP Radios create a continuously self-configuring, self-organizing, infrastructure-less wireless network that supports up to 100 Mbps of encrypted IP data throughput for voice, video, and data services in the field.
